1. BSM and Fuse Inspection

Solution and Repair

To prevent premature damage, maintain the coolant with the correct proportion of organic additive (PSA B71 5110 standard). A lack of additive causes galvanic corrosion in the temperature sensor, altering its resistance and sending false information to the ECU, which ultimately “cooks” the engine without the cooling fan activating at the correct time.
